How long does it take for Chime to deposit the cheque?

Chime automatically enables Mobile Check Deposit in your app. It takes up to one business day post receiving your qualifying deposit, and Chime will take 3-5 business days to deposit most checks into your account. Hence, it may take up to 5 working days for the amount to reflect in your account.

The process to deposit online checks via Chime.

Once the mobile check deposit facility has been allowed from your account, you can use the facility to deposit checks through Chime mobile app. Just follow the instructions mentioned below. 

  • Open the Chime app and the move money option from the list.
  • Tap on the option available named mobile check deposit.
  • Now select the type of check you are eager to deposit and follow the instructions given by the app. 

What can I do if my check gets rejected by Chime?

There can be various reasons behind the rejection of your check. The check might be illegible, failure to endorse, textured or patterned backgrounds of a check, among others. If that happens, you will receive an email and a notification on your phone. It would be best if you got in touch with Chime customer service to know the cause behind the rejection and rectify it.

What is the amount I can withdraw with my Chime ATM?

You can withdraw $500 daily with the help of Chime ATM. Remember, one can only withdraw cash from Chime outlets, as they never work on different ATMs due to their policies.
